A Spooktacular HalloWedding!!!

I had the pleasure of spending Halloween with a very special couple! Kelly and Gary tied the knot on 10.31.09! It was such a fun day and I was so excited to spend it with them. The entire group was a blast and was so much fun to photograph! Between the ceremony and reception the bridal party and Todd and I went to Olmsted Falls and took some really fun photos on and around the train tracks and walking through town. The groomsmen even had to stop traffic so we could cross the street! It was hilarious!! When we wrapped up the bridal party pics and headed back to the reception, the bridal party awaiting their intro in a side room, where they choreographed their entrances...too fun!! Guests at the reception had fun with the Halloween scene by dressing in costumes! There were a lot of really funny ideas...like a group of Troll Dolls!! It was great!! I had such a fantastic time spending the day with this amazing couple!

Check out the photos below and tell me what you think!!

Wind-blown!

They were cracking up the majority of the time!

I told the guys that the girls were beating them at being fun....this is what I got!!

Sneaking a kiss!

I told you...always cracking up...I love it!

I love this one! It is such a contrast!

Get it girls!!

The brides shoes and her very sentimental earrings!

I love this shot...the font of the invitation was so cool!

Absolute favorite! We were on the train tracks when they spotted headlights!
We ran off the tracks and had them stand in front of the train...I told them they had to be very still for this to work...they did an amazing job and it created a fantastic photo!!!

Meghan and Erick - Engagement Session

I met Meghan and Erick at a food tasting for the Four Season's Columbus. We did their engagement pictures over the last weekend and the session was way too much fun!!! We started at OSU, where we took some really fun shots at the Shoe! Meghan and Erick even brought props!! They played football and we tried to sweet talk our way into the stadium to no avail!! It didn't matter though, we got some great shots without heading into the stadium!! We then headed to Innis Woods Garden...sooo beautiful!!! I didn't realize that this hidden gem existed!! It was absolutely gorgeous and we had so much fun wandering around. They even rolled down a huge hill!! I had such a blast during this session...I can't wait to see what the wedding will be like!! Take a look at a few of my early favorites and leave some nice comments for the happy couple!

Sneaking a kiss!

Looks like the Secret Garden...love it!

Love this one!

So fun!

Anna and Andy

This past weekend I had the pleasure of photographing Anna and Andy! This wedding was very special to me because I also photographed both of their senior pictures several years ago! It was so amazing to see them go from high school seniors to Bride and Groom and I was honored to be a part of the celebration! Anna was stunning and laid back as always and Andy and the boys were very typically raucous but a whole lot of fun. We found a great little spot across the street from the church that we were able to run to for an intimate post-wedding photo shoot. It suited them perfectly! Check out a few of my favorites and tell me what you think!!

She was breath taking!

What a gorgeous dress!

Making sure everything was in its place.

I took the exact same picture of her Sister when I shot her wedding several years ago!

Too fun!

Someone put this on the marquis during the ceremony...what a surprise!

So sensual...I love it!

I just love this spot...it worked perfectly!

One of my favorites...looks like we were spying on them!

Adorable! They were so much fun!

Bury/Hanson Wedding

On July 4th, I had the pleasure of spending my Holiday with Jeff and Ali! They got married at Bryn Du Mansion in Granville, Ohio! It was beautiful...absolutely stunning! The setting was perfect, the weather was great for most of the day, the bride was gorgeous, the groom completely endearing, and the bridal party perfectly attentive!

Despite being an emotional person and a hopeless romantic, I can typically get through any wedding without tears, not Jeff and Ali's! They were so affectionate and completely and utterly in love. When the DJ read the story of how Jeff proposed, I was taking photos but had to continually wipe my eyes...seriously!! They are so in love and that fact is apparent to anyone who has met them!!

Here are 10 of my favorites from the day...I could barely decide which ones to post! I still have a lot of editing to do, but these are some of the early stand outs!!! I hope to have them edited soon and may end up doing another post with more for your viewing pleasure!!!

Please leave some kind comments for the happy couple!! Thanks for looking!

Breathtaking!

You can literally see how in love they are!

Is this not the coolest place or what??

How fun are they?? Way too fun!!

Something we did at our wedding that I thought was fitting for this location!

This one might be one of my favorites so far!!

This is one of Todd's, he was able to get close up while I was doing the full frame shots of the mansion.

Side view of the jumping...look at that groomsman...so great!!

Gotta love the natural light on the silhouette of that dress!

Gorgeous natural light on the bouquet!!

Fun Engagement Session

This past weekend I had the pleasure of photographing Kelly and Gary!! Despite a LOT of challenges we had a great time!! Our plan was to take some photos at their house with their dogs and then head to campus for some fun shots at places that were meaningful to the two of them. The house shots with the pups went great, despite the distraction of the occasional squirrel or neighboring dog! We were planning on going to the coffee shop where they met to take some cool shots there. But when we got there we got a big surprise...they were closed for the weekend!!! Oh No!! We took some shots out front which actually turned out really cute...then we were off to the Shoe....or so we thought!! When we arrived, there was a high school football game going on and there was a GIANT truck parked out front taking up all of the prime photo spots!! Despite all of this, we still got a lot of cute shots!!! It was a very fun day and I can't wait to shoot their wedding!!!

Had to stop at Buckeye Donuts for a few sweet treats!!

Uh Oh...Gary wanted a bite of Kelly's donut!!

I love this one...she's got the best laugh!!

Just walking down High Street :)

Showing some love and showing off the rock!!

I love this one...he is smiling so nice!!

This is one of my favorites...out in front of Brenen's, I told them I needed to "test the lighting"...classic photog trick!! :)

Look at that tiny puppy!!! I tried to kidnap her!! :)

The new family, walking down the street!!

Notice the distraction of Murphy, I think this time it was a bird! Ha Ha Ha

What a fun shoot!! Please leave some comments and let me know what you guys think!!

Okay, so the project is done and the event was a hit...but because I was soo busy getting stuff ready for the event, I have not had a chance to post a few pics of two great guys that I had the pleasure of working with!!! Both choose to remain anonymous...so no names...sorry! :)

But these photos were so much fun..check them out and tell me what you think!!

Some have called this a Marlboro ad!

This one was Troy's idea...while we were shooting, so I tried it.
