A Spooktacular HalloWedding!!!

I had the pleasure of spending Halloween with a very special couple! Kelly and Gary tied the knot on 10.31.09! It was such a fun day and I was so excited to spend it with them. The entire group was a blast and was so much fun to photograph! Between the ceremony and reception the bridal party and Todd and I went to Olmsted Falls and took some really fun photos on and around the train tracks and walking through town. The groomsmen even had to stop traffic so we could cross the street! It was hilarious!! When we wrapped up the bridal party pics and headed back to the reception, the bridal party awaiting their intro in a side room, where they choreographed their entrances...too fun!! Guests at the reception had fun with the Halloween scene by dressing in costumes! There were a lot of really funny ideas...like a group of Troll Dolls!! It was great!! I had such a fantastic time spending the day with this amazing couple!

Check out the photos below and tell me what you think!!

Wind-blown!

They were cracking up the majority of the time!

I told the guys that the girls were beating them at being fun....this is what I got!!

Sneaking a kiss!

I told you...always cracking up...I love it!

I love this one! It is such a contrast!

Get it girls!!

The brides shoes and her very sentimental earrings!

I love this shot...the font of the invitation was so cool!

Absolute favorite! We were on the train tracks when they spotted headlights!
We ran off the tracks and had them stand in front of the train...I told them they had to be very still for this to work...they did an amazing job and it created a fantastic photo!!!

Fun Engagement Session

This past weekend I had the pleasure of photographing Kelly and Gary!! Despite a LOT of challenges we had a great time!! Our plan was to take some photos at their house with their dogs and then head to campus for some fun shots at places that were meaningful to the two of them. The house shots with the pups went great, despite the distraction of the occasional squirrel or neighboring dog! We were planning on going to the coffee shop where they met to take some cool shots there. But when we got there we got a big surprise...they were closed for the weekend!!! Oh No!! We took some shots out front which actually turned out really cute...then we were off to the Shoe....or so we thought!! When we arrived, there was a high school football game going on and there was a GIANT truck parked out front taking up all of the prime photo spots!! Despite all of this, we still got a lot of cute shots!!! It was a very fun day and I can't wait to shoot their wedding!!!

Had to stop at Buckeye Donuts for a few sweet treats!!

Uh Oh...Gary wanted a bite of Kelly's donut!!

I love this one...she's got the best laugh!!

Just walking down High Street :)

Showing some love and showing off the rock!!

I love this one...he is smiling so nice!!

This is one of my favorites...out in front of Brenen's, I told them I needed to "test the lighting"...classic photog trick!! :)

Look at that tiny puppy!!! I tried to kidnap her!! :)

The new family, walking down the street!!

Notice the distraction of Murphy, I think this time it was a bird! Ha Ha Ha

What a fun shoot!! Please leave some comments and let me know what you guys think!!

More for the Genre Project that has no name!

Last weekend I had the pleasure of working with Amy! She had offered to help me with my current project and she was awesome! We had a great session and were able to try a lot of cool poses and different lighting techniques. This project is definitely coming along quite nicely! I have a lot to shoot after the Holiday's in order to get the project finished by February! I'm very excited about this project....however I can't think of a name! If you have any ideas...please let me know!! It is about the different strengths and differences of men and woman. It is really about ambiguity and the lines and curves of our bodies. If you have an idea...please let me know for real! :)

Take a look at Amy's photos and tell me what you think!!
